I just received my speedometer and installed it the temp gauge is not working correctly it is cold before I start the engine when it warms up to 185 190 the gauge reads out of the zone to the h end and the ohm reading I get from the sender is 16 ohms when engine is at 185 190. also the fuel gauge is reading less than half full at 26 ohms both senders are new and I have good grounds and fuel tank is new.

Hi Ken There are a couple things to look at also with the Speedometer Assembly. If you changed the fuel tank sending unit the stops for the float rod need to be set at 10 ohms for full and 73 ohms empty. Also if you changed the temperature sending unit you should not put sealant tape on it. If those things were don't then it would be best to contact customer service. Thanks

Again I do not have the original wiring and in all of the books I have say these gauges are 9 volt and have a resister somewhere in the hot wire

Hi Again There should be 12 volts going into the fuel gauge then there resister in the fuel gauge drops the voltage to about 5.5 and pulses the signal to the sending unit and the temp gauge. We do not have just replacement wiring for the dash it would be a complete harness for the whole Jeep. Thanks

I don't have the original wiring does it come with a wiring diagram and also they are supposed to have a resister what is the ohm reading supposed to be for the resister I do not have the resister.

Hello Ken The resistor is built into the fuel gauge on the Speedometer Assembly. You set the ohms on the sending unit 10 ohms for full and 73 ohms empty. They do not come with wiring, the red hot wire hooks to the + on the fuel gauge and the pink wire to sending unit. The purple with white stripe is for the temp sensor. Thanks
