Steering Shaft is a factory Chrysler replacement part. Attaching bolts are not included. Shaft is collapsible. Full extended length is 34.
I have a 3 inch body lift on my 95 YJ. My present steering shaft measures 34 inches from end to end as installed. It is a modified shaft by a few inches as the old shaft was set up and would not extend. Will this shaft work in this application. MY current shaft works, but has excessive play due to wear. Thanks

Hi Wes The Power Steering Shaft will not extend as far as needed. You would need to use the Borgeson BUC000925 for on road or BUC000926 for off road. Thanks

When shipped in collapsible form is it 23 1/2" and how does one get it to extend to full length? Is it simply a matter of pulling on it?

Yes, you just need to pull the power steering shaft to extend it to the necessary length. Thanks!
