Hello Swedefan, that's a good question. The Omix-Ada Oil Pressure Gauge is the 2 spade connection, When looking at the back of the gauge, sending unit wire will be on left side, and ignition wire on the right. Please let us know if you have any other questions, thanks.

After the install of this product, what color is the gauge when its dark with the lights on? Is it the color of the bulb being used, or is it a special color?

This gauge contains a clear bulb, so the light will glow white. Thanks!
