What is the torque specs to replace head bolts?
Asked by SB from galax on
Hello SB, here is what we suggest for the torque specs and sequence. Torquing sequence is, starting from the passenger side center, a clockwise spiral - like this: 8 4 1 5 9 7 3 2 6 10 #7 must have the threads coated with PTFE pipe dope, and torque to 22 pound-feet/45 pound-feet/110 pound-feet (#7 gets 100 pound-feet.) Torque the screws to the second step twice per FSM (once to get there, again to verify,). Please let us know if you have any other questions, thanks.
