I have a1969 CJ-5 with the Buick 225 engine and the under seat metal tank. This product says that it will fit my application but my tank has 6 holes and this unit uses the lock ring? any guidance would be a great help. Currently I have a sending unit labeled S-917210100159 bolted into the tank but it does not have a return line

Hi Dan, This Omix-Ada Fuel Tank Sending Unit is only used on the 225 engine versions that use a lock ring to hold the unit in place. We do offer a 6 bolt style for Jeeps up through '72 models, here it is and thanks for your inquiry.http://www.4wd.com/Jeep-Engine-Performance/Fuel-Sending-Unit.aspx?t_c=74&t_s=433&t_pt=7986&t_pn=MTSCJSU-3

What are the ohm readings at empty and full?
Asked by ddd from on
Hello, from what I can find the ohm range should be approximately 10 ohms full and 90 ohms empty. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
