Are these knobs any better than the factory knobs - will they last longer?

Hello DT, The Omix-Ada Climate Control Knob will be the same plastic as the factory knobs. i do offer Billet knobs part number RUG11420.04 that will last. Thanks for the inquiry.

I have a Jeep Wrangler Sport (2000) which has the three round knobs for the AC/Heating controls (fan speed knob on the left, temperature knob in the middle, and a vent control/AC knob on the right). My vent control/AC knob has broken and I want to replace it. I checked to see if my fan speed knob would work, but it does not fit in the temperature knob slot. I want to make sure I buy the right knob for the vent. Should I get the "climate control knob" or the "heater" knob or some other knob that you list for sale?

Hi Keith! This knob should work for all 3 of the switch locations. There is no specific knob for the fan, blower location, or temperature control. What I can recommend, as it happened in my 2003 Wrangler, is check to see if the metal retaining sleeve is still attached to your vent control knob post. Mine broke off and wouldn't allow me to install a new knob until I got a pair of needle nose pliers and pulled the small metal sleeve off the shaft. All three shafts are the same size, so the knob will interchange between them.
