Hello Dan, The Omix-Ada CJ Padded Dash is just like the factory dash pad so it will have the vent slots in the same location as the factory dash. As far as mounting goes, I believe it uses a combination of screws and clips to mount in the Jeep. Just take extra care when removing your dash to not lose or break any of the hardware and it will go on the same exact way reusing everything you just took off.
