The all-new Trail Grappler M/T blends some of the off-road performance of the Mud Grappler with the on-road comfort of the Terra Grappler to create a tire that is both aggressive and quiet. For off-road performance, the sidewall combines a 3-ply high turn-up construction with a thick rubber compound that cushions the tire and helps prevent punctures. On the tread surface, the blocks are configured to provide additional biting edges that command lateral stability and enhance forward traction. For on-road comfort, Nittos engineers used advanced sound analysis equipment to reduce the noise levels commonly associated with off-road tires. The internal construction and tread design also help optimize tread life. Two wide steel belts provide a stable base for the tire and increase tread strength. This advanced construction provides optimal uniformity and reduces irregular wear.
This tire is a bit noisier then most, but for what it will get you through, I wouldn't trade it. I have a Jeep Wrangler, and it just destroys EVERYTHING in its path! The extra noise is definitely worth it! I saw someone else had a problem with it pulling to the left....I don't have that problem.
Can these tires be put on a 2013 Wrangler Sport "S" 17x7.5 Aluminum Rims and what if any are the drawbacks?
Asked by AJOHIO from Alliance, Ohio on
Hey AJ, the Nitto 35x12.50R17LT, Trail Grappler would fit on the wheel with no drawbacks as long as you have at least a 2 inch lift on your Jeep. Thanks for your question.

What tire pressure should I run these tires at? My jeep is a 2011 JKU with a skyjacker 2.5" lift, 17x9" procomp black wheels..I bought the package from you guys, mounted and balanced with the tire pressure monitors. Also what is the true height of the tire when installed, so I know what to put in my programer? When I messure the tire it comes up at 33.5"? It is supposted to be a 35" tire! Currently I have the tire pressure at 30lbs. And adjusted the programer to 22lbs. so the monitor doesn't go off. I check the pressure EVERY day, cause the light was on for 2 weeks till I adjusted, the low pressure sensor to 22lbs. and it finally went off.

Hi Skyjkr, Since this Nitto Trail Grappler is a load range E you can run a relatively low tire pressure without damage, we recommend 29lb to 33lb, depending on if you're wheeling or its mostly street use. The diameter of this tire is 34.84" according to the manufacturer, we are not sure why you are measuring 33.5". Thanks for the inquiry.

2014 rubicon unlimited 1. Does this come with wheels or just the tire? 2. Will this work with teraflex wheel offset adapters? 3. Can I still use my factory Tpms on these tires? Thank you very much
Asked by Stone from Richmond on
Stone, the Nitto 35x12.50R17LT, Trail Grappler are sold individually with the tire only. All wheels are sold separately. If you use the TMPS, you can order the wheels and tires loose, and have them mounted locally. I hope this helps.
