Replacement polyethylene gas tanks have no welds or seams and are guaranteed not to rust through for the life of your vehicle. With thickness nearly a quarter inch, the insulating qualities of the polyethylene will also reduce condensation and, most importantly, will eliminate rust. MTS' tanks are easy to install, using the original mounting hardware and are Made in the U.S.A.

Hi fred c, This MTS Company Polyethylene Gas Tank and Installation Kit includes the tank, sending unit, center top strap and skid plate extensions, it does not have a skid plate with it. Here's the skid plate, thanks for your inquiry.http://www.4wd.com/Armor-Protection/Fuel-Tank-Skid-Plate.aspx?t_c=79&t_s=467&t_pt=3545&t_pn=CROJ5357023

I have a '81 CJ-7 with a '94YJ 4.0L fuel inj motor. Is this tank available with an internal fuel pump for the 4.0L motor? All wiring is OEM '94 YJ".
Asked by Driller from Central Coast, CA on
Hi Driller, This MTS Company Polyethylene Gas Tank and Installation Kit won't be able to use the YJ sending unit and pump as they require a square hole opening. Here it is, however you'll need to get a YJ tank which is a different size and fitment than the CJ. http://www.4wd.com/Jeep-Engine-Performance/Fuel-Sending-Unit.aspx?t_c=74&t_s=433&t_pt=7986&t_pn=MTSYJSU-20F
