Mine did! I purchased a Mean Green alternator in 1998 to see what all the rage was about. Well the alternator made it through to the year 2012. I have been through four different batteries and the Mean Green has kept them charged till the battery's demise. This product has been through countless off road conditions, jumping off other battery's, ton's of whinch use, and Hurricane Katrina. This alternator has always been there to charge my battery. In fact it has done so well in the last 14 years that I am purchasing another one to replace it. Thank you Mean Green.
does this come complete to plug & play- ie with brackets and connections and wires- Mine is TJ 2003, manual, 4.0L Gas and its right hand drive. Will I need to change the factory stock wiring? Thanks Gill Australia

it is advertised as a 200 amp alternator but the specs say its 140 amp What is the true ratings at idle and at speed please
Asked by Btty Blu from C-bus ohio on
Hi Btty Blue, This high output alternator from Mean Green puts out 140 amp at idle, however it has a built in reserve that kicks in when amp draw is increased (lights, winch, etc) to 200 amp for vehicles with electrical accessories. The original alternator does not have this ability, hope this helps and thanks for the inquiry.
