Quick and easy protection from the elements at your fingertips with a MasterTop Cab Cover. These durable covers fit over your vehicles windshield and sport bars when your soft top is removed or folded down providing protection from the sun and those sudden showers. Each cover is constructed of durable non-woven U.S. made fabric for the ultimate in durability and vehicle protection from water, dust, dirt and those harmful UV rays. The fabric itself is waterproof and the seams are located away from pooling water making this cab cover the ultimate weatherproof design. Each cab cover has a long panel on each side of the cover that protects the door opening from water and debris when the doors are removed and the cover is installed. The light gray color reflects sun and keeps the interior of your Jeep cool. This is a great cover for parking your Jeep during the day while at the office or at school or in the garage during those long winter months. Note: Even though MasterTop only uses high quality waterproof material on their Cab Covers, the seams of the cover are not sealed so there may be some water penetration during heavy downpours.
I purchased this cover for my 2015 2-door Rubicon JK, in order to 1) keep the rain out when the soft top is folded down, and 2) to keep my cousin's barn cats out. The cover works great and fits snug, even when soft top is folded down. It's made of a good, heavy material that is of the highest quality. I have the full metal doors, and the cover fits over the doors but does not reach to the bottom of the door opening if the doors were removed. This might be because the doors were on my JK and they keep the cover raised a few extra inches. Since I'm not planning to remove my doors, someone else will have to comment on this. The first time I installed the cover, one of the metal hooks that attached under the body (to keep the cover pulled down tight) had an issue. The metal hooks are covered in (dipped in) rubber, and the rubber coating fell off the hook due to poor workmanship. The other 3 rubber coated hooks are OK. I'll contact 4WD about a replacement. Also, when it rains, water pools on the cover over the front seats, but water does not get inside the Jeep. The cover seams does not leak. It also kept the barn cats out, and I'm quite happy with the cover. After using the cover, it is very had to get it back into the manufacturer tote bag, but that is not a concern for me. Overall, a great product that I'd highly recommend, especially if your factory soft top is folded down and you want to keep you JK interior dry (and barn cat free!). There were less expensive covers available on the internet, but I'd recommend spending the extra ~$20 for this one as it is great!
