The many android versions mean that this unit could be incompatible with your phone. Choosing a CarPlay version instead.
This head-unit is way overpriced. I am not sure how this cost is justifiable. The boot time for this unit is around 30 seconds every-time you turn on the car. Annoying. This is android based, meaning the apps you have on it will eventually no longer be supported unless Insane Audio continues to support this head unit and provide future OS upgrades. Sirius Sat. is not available and requires needless set-up to have Sirius Sat. There are other units available, for less money and do more such as Apple Car play and Android Mirror Link. This unit should be priced at $599. I uninstalled mine and put in a Pioneer AVIC 5100. Much cheaper and WAY better unit.
Love this thing. Dropped right in took less than half an hour and works awesome. Highly recommend it over the stock Jeep Navi system.
Is there any way to mount this system into a 2000 Wrangler Sport TJ by modifying the dash, a conversion trim kit or any other method? Thank you!
