Is a conversion kit of some sorts needed to upgrade not only the signal/park lamps but head and tail lights as well from the factory lights to LED's for a '79CJ7? I'm not one that likes chasing electrical problems and want to do the upgrade right the first time. Thanks in advance for your help.

Kelly, For the In Pro Carwear LED Replacement Front Turn Signal and Parking Light Bulbs you will need to use LED resistors for the turn signals to work properly. I will put a link below to the part you will need. Please let us know if you have any other questions. What is the approximate lumen of the amber?
Asked by Hunter from Evans, GA on
Hello Hunter, unfortunately In Pro Carwear does not give us a lumen rating for this light. But from experience with the LED Replacement Front Turn Signal and Parking Light Bulbs, I can tell you that they are significantly brighter than the factory bulbs. Please let us know if you have any other questions, thanks.
