Mount your Hi-Lift Jack within easy reach on any Jeep Wrangler and CJ. Mounts directly to existing hood hinge holes, no drilling required. 6061-T6 structural anodized aluminum for strength, durability, and a clean look.
I had a cheap mount Hi-Lift hood mount on my CJ5 and it did not keep the jack high enough so the hood could be fully opened (and leaned against the windshield) without having to remove the jack. Do these mounts for a TJ allow the hood to FULLY open (lean against the windshield) when the jack is mounted? Thanks

Hi Chris, This Hi-Lift Jack Hood Mount fits the TJ hood hinges but not the CJ's. The hood won't flip back to the windshield frame with a hi light jack installed on the hood hinges, regardless of mount brand. Thanks for your inquiry.

Will this mount system work with a smittybilt 54" jack and will it block my windshield mounted spotlights?

Hi PapaJeep, Yes, this hood mount kit from Hi-Lift works great with the Smittybilt 54" jack. The jack will partially block your lights if the are mounted on the windshield hinges. Hope this helps, thanks for the inquiry!

Hi-Lift Jack's parent company Bloomfield Manufacturing was founded over 100 years ago and today Indiana-headquartered Hi-Lift produces jacks capable of lifting, winching, clamping, pulling and pushing. The Handyman or Sheepherder's jack was the Hi-Lift's original name and jeepers trust these accessories out on the trail in a variety of scenarios. Their trail jacks offer a rated capacity of 4,660 lbs. and a tested capacity of 7,000 lbs. and they are lightweight and easy to maneuver. We also carry tow straps and jack mount kits as well as storage options for trail jacks. Rely on a brand that has withstood the test of time to withstand the tests that come with off-roading.
