4.0 Nice Jack and Manual Trail Wench

Just getting into Off-Roading and figured I should have a way to get out of trouble should I get there. While I have not had a need to use as a winch, it seems to be sturdy enough to pull my stock 1995 ZJ out of most situations. I use a my main jack for repairs and does a good job on the stock lift. Simple to use but not stable enough for a long term support even with the optional base on concreet or asphault. If more than just a tire change or getting clearance to add traction under tires, use jack stands. The lever to change the direction of the jack (up/down) is a little stifr when new. Suggest a good light grease for the mechanics of the jack for the first use and to keep lubed. This initial stiffness appears to decrease with usage. Handle needs a better storage device as it will clank if not secured. Could use a pice of rope to tighten handle to jack shaft or get the optional rubber handle securer to eliminate the clanking.
