Great product

Mounted on the front bumper of my 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ Rubicon and it is rock solid with proper installation , installation is easy with proper tools about and hour and a half by yourself.

I have seen pictures of this kit being used to store the jack on the front side of the front bumper of a YJ, looking as if it was done so without drilling. Can the kit be used to mount the jack on the TOP of the bumper as well? I would like to keep it there if possible through the summer months but cannot cover the front license plates

Will this work with Smittybuilt's 54" Trail Jack, or is it only compatible with Hi-Lift's jacks?

I have a 87 Wrangler YJ, I need a mount for my jack. It is currently just laying inside the jeep. I am concerned about where I would mount the jack. Any suggestions? I would like to mount between the windshield and the hood hinge, will it fit there or should I choose another location?
