Most other steering stabilizers I have looked at have a 12 to 13 inch stroke. Why is this one only a 6 inch stroke. It mounts and fits the same?
Asked by OFFRDN from Lester Al on
Hey Offrdn, the Fox Racing Shox 2.0 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP Stabilizer does not need as much stroke because of the gas inside. It does not need as much displacement to perform is function. Thanks for your question.

Bob Fox, founder of Fox Racing Shox, had a dream in 1957. That was to create a better shock absorber for dirtbike racing. From that dream Bob Fox built and grew Fox Racing Shox. Now Fox Racing Shox creates the type of performance shock absorbers that lead the Fox team to victory in the 2015 UTV World Championships and lead to the FOX Athletes dominating in the 2016 Mint 400. Fox has over four decades of experience manufacturing shocks that are meant to win in a variety of motorsports. Fox engineers take what they learn from dirtbike, mountain biking and drag racing and apply that technical knowledge to the development of off-road shocks. So Fox innovation and product support is top of the line. Shop Fox Racing Shox Now
