3 Answered questionsHave a 97 Jeep TJ w/2.5L eng. Manual 5spd trans. the shaft that is on this unit is a slip yoke type. I am not lifting this jeep up. Will this driveshaft install without a kit to change the shaft in the transfer case. If not do you have an OEM style that will fit without modifications

Hello Mark, This Fabtech Drive Shaft will not work with your setup. It requires a slip yoke eliminator kit. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask, Thank you.

Is this both the front & rear drive shafts as shown in picture or is it just the rear?

Hi Slim! This part number is for the rear CV-style drive shaft only. You shouldn't need to replace your front drive shaft when installing a new lift on a TJ Wrangler unless it is damaged.

I have a 88 jeep Wrangler Base model with a 2 1/2 inch lift. will this work without buying anything else?

Hello Rich! Do you have a Slip Yoke Eliminator kit already installed on your transfer case? If yes, then this drive shaft will be perfect for you.
