Edelbrock line of Dyno developed crate engines are fully assembled and ready to get you back in the road. Chose from many different displacements and power levels to meet the demands of your right foot.
can i just drop this into my 1989 yj laredo? if not what will i have to get to make this work?

Hi John, This Edelbrock Crate Performer Engine is a 350 cubic inch. To install in a YJ Wrangler you'd have lots of items required, such as a bell housing adapter for the tranny, conversion engine mounts, radiator, headers, potential drive shaft lengths and wiring. The only drop in engine would be the same size engine it came with. Thanks for your inquiry.

I have a 1992 jeep cherokee xj with the 4.0L online 6 cylinder? Will I have get different motor mounts for this product and do u sell a bell housing adapter for this product?

Hi Jeep Yes you will need different motor mounts, depending on the transmission will have to change transmissions. You will also need to have at least a 3 inch lift on the Jeep to fit the motor mounts to get in low enough for the Crate Performer Engine. Thanks

WHAT WOULD BE NEEDED TO INSTALL THIS ENGINE IN A 2009 JEEP JK? DO YOU HAVE AN INSTALLATION "KIT" FOR THIS? OR IS THERE A SIMULAR KIT FOR A HEMI ENGINE?
Asked by DAVID M. ESPENSHADE from BASEHOR KS. on
Hello David, It would not be a direct bolt up. You will need adapters, engine mounts, radiator, possibly driveshafts and exhaust just to set it in their. This motor is also carburated which is not allowed to convert back in some states so you would need a fuel injection kit and wiring harness as well. The same type of things are needed to go with a hemi. It is doable but there is alot of adapting needed.
