Excellent choice.

This is the best choice for an front axle installation. Great improvment in offroad tractions combined with daily road use. This is what I call value for money. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZmsY2YvVsc

Hi 4wd, I have a 99 Cherokee Sport XJ with stock 3:55 gears. Front Axle: Dana 30 High Pinion (Reverse) Rear Axle: Chrysler 8.25 I am looking to upgrade from my 3:55's to 4:10's, and add TrueTrac front and rear. 1) Is this the correct TrueTrac product for my front axle and expected 4:10 gear setup? 2) I have been reading that upgrading my front axle D30 HP from 3:55 to 4:10 requires purchasing a separate low ratio carrier. Do I still need this additional carrier if I am installing the TrueTrac or does the TrueTrac act as the new carrier? Thanks!

Asked by Aaron from United States on

Hi Aaron The Dana 30 TrueTrac takes the place of the stock carrier on the front axle and this is the correct part number for the front axle. Thanks

I am fixing to buy your 4.56 kit for my 2010 wrangler it has on the door sticker a new improved dana 30 front and dana 44 rear will this fit the front dana30 for this year and what does new and improved mean on the dealer tag

Asked by CHARLIE iam a jeeper from palestine,tx on

Charlie, the Detroit Locker Dana 30 27 Spline 3.73 Up Front TrueTrac will fit your Jeep just fine. The "new" Dana 30 is referring to the Dana 30 that is in the 2007-up JK's vs the old Wrangler Dana 30's. I hope this helps.
