Currie Enterprises tow bar mounting plate for all models of 2007 and up Jeep JK Wranglers includes the bolt on plate that replaces the stock plastic valance panel, tow bar attaching forks, and all necessary hardware. Finished in semi-gloss black powder coat.
I searched and searched looking for the right tow bar plate for my 2007 Jeep JK Unlimited. I kept coming back to this bar due to its praticallity, and it was considerably cheaper than other options. When I received the package, I was very impressed with how stout this bar is and with the mounting points. I can say with assurance that this bar will do exactly what I need it to do. I set asside about 4 hours to mount this bar under my bumper and it took less than 2 hours. You have to drill 6 holes in to the cross members and front umpact bar and that's it, everything bolts in. An easy, stressless install.
I had to cut off some of the frame where the plate attached to my 2013 JK unlimited. There are two unused holes on the plate due to the frame on the 2013 JK being not as wide as past years. The plate does replace the plastic air dam and looks great mounted on the jeep. I would recommend buying a Blue Ox base plate. I had one on my TJ and it just seemed like a better product with better attachment points.
Can this tow mounting plate be used with a Roadmaster Sterling tow bar behind a motorhome? Is quality of mounting plate suitable for a 2014 Jeep Wrangler unlimited 4 dr? Is there a weight limit for towing any vehicle?

Thomas, The Currie Tow Bar Mounting Plate is specifically designed for the Currie tow bar. I will put a link below for the correct one. This mounting plate is designed to work with the Jeep JKU and does not have a weight limit as it is vehicle specific. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Since 1959, Corona, California-based Currie Enterprises has been currying favor with Jeep enthusiasts by manufacturing suspension systems and accessories, driveline parts and steering components that withstand grueling off-road conditions. With the rise in interest in off-roading in the 1970s, the company focused its attention on trucks and Jeeps, specifically rearends.
