This component replaces the stock XJ/TJ/LJ/MJ front track bar with an adjustable length Johnny Joint� unit. This is designed to center the front axle assembly under the vehicle after installation of a lift kit and/or the springs settle. It is made from 1 1/4" heavy wall D.O.M. tubing and it uses a 5/8" bolt at the frame end for added strength, drilling equipment is obviously required for installation. Housing end retains the factory bolt. Sold each.
I assume that this product will fit on a stock height tj. Seeing as it is adjustable, what is the heighest lift height that it is compatible with? Also on a stock setup, does it provide more differential clearance than a stock track bar?

Hello Sunny, the track bar and bump stops have no direct relationship or need to be used with each other. Does your 2" kit include a track bar relocation bracket? It probably doesn't, but at 2" it wouldn't hurt to be able to fine tune and adjust the track bar for a perfect fit and centering of the axle under the Jeep. To address your bump stop question, they probably aren't needed for your Jeep if the 2" lift kit didn't come with it. The only time we see that people need bump stops with 2" of lift is if they are trying to build a low center of gravity and large tire Jeep. The bump stops just prevent the tires, axle and steering from hitting other components. Take the kit you have an install it and add the adjustable track bar if you want to be able to fine tune where the axle sits under your Jeep.
