My old cable [off jeep wrangler 1988 6cyl w/man-trans] (at lease 95" long) but it has a metal screw (at manual trans end) and a plastic-female-attachment that snaps/clamps on the speedometer plastic finger/male end. Your cable [web-part-# CRO53003084] appears to have a screw-on-cap to attach to the trans (looks like it will work, but need to measure to make sure), and also a screw-on-cap odometer end that may not attach. Can your cable be attached without a plane non-threaded odometer end? Any suggestions on how to modify or do you have another part.

I have a 1990 yj with cruise I need the upper speedo cable. it needs the snap on type end for the speedo. I can't find one anywhere. Is this the right one? 1990 yj Laredo with cruise control.
