Hey Khawk2, this Crown Automotive Rear Axle Snubber measures 5 inches from center of mounting hole to center of mounting hole. Please let me know if you have any other questions, Thanks.

I currently have a 1995 XJ with a 2" lift and 31" tires on it. I've looked on a few other forums about whether or not this model or the 4" model would work best with my vehicle, and really haven't gotten an answer. my question is: would it? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jerry, Are you currently having issues with the axle bottoming out before it hits the existing snubber? If so, then I'd recommend going with the larger one. If not, then this shorter replacement should do just fine.
