In addition to the calibration issue noted by the other poster, the reostat mechanism that reads the fuel level had disintegrated by the time I pulled the tank after a couple of years of innaccuracy. Now, I have to order the same part due to a lack of options. Awesome.
The first thing I have to warn customers about with this unit is DO NOT follow the directions that came with it. The directions say not to calibrate the unit, so I didn't. But without calibration it is WAY off on the low end by 3.5 gallons, that is a huge percentage of 15 gallons. I have not had the time yet to pull the tank again to calibrate the unit (contrary to the instructions), so I don't know if once calibrated it will read correctly. As of this writing due to my experience with this unit thus far I would not recommend buying it, try a different brand.
