The pump was easy to install. The only potential problem is that the pickup height seems to be a little shorter then the OEM pump. The pump itself is smaller as well. It's probably not a big deal in real world use though.
Does the fuel regulator come with this assembly ? 96 xj 4.0 4x4 sport---it's a JEEP

N/A, the Crown Automotive Fuel Module is the entire assembly which includes the regulator. Hope this helps!

The comments on this product say for a "20 gal fuel tank" but Jeep YJ's only have a 15 gal tank so will this work for a 15 gal tank? If not what is the part number for the replacement sending unit/fuel pump assembly? Thanks Mike
Asked by Mike from Sufolk, Va on
Mike, the Crown Automotive Fuel Sending Unit is for the 20 gallon only as listed. If you have a 15 gallon tank you will need this sending unit http://www.4wd.com/Jeep-Engine-Performance/Fuel-Tank-Sending-Unit-Kit.aspx?t_c=74&t_s=433&t_pt=7986&t_pn=CRO83502990 (with EFI), or http://www.4wd.com/Jeep-Engine-Performance/Fuel-Sending-Unit.aspx?t_c=74&t_s=433&t_pt=7986&t_pn=CRO53003204 (carbureted) I hope this helps!

What is the ohm range, full vs. empty? I am looking for a replacement fuel sending unit for a 1995 Wrangler with a 4.0L engine.
Asked by Chris from Hyde Park, VT on
Hi Chris The gauge resistance is 1 ohm empty and 89 ohms full. Thanks
