Crown Automotive Fuel Filter

I have this filter on my Jeep. How id=s this filter supposed to function? I thought the second outlet was a vent, however when I unplugged the line gas sprays out of it when turning the engine over

Hi Keith The extra port on the filter is for the exess fuel to go back to the tank it is not a vent. Thanks

Keith, The second hole on the Crown Automotive Fuel Filter must have a hose returning back to the tank and must be at the 12 o'clock position. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

is this the only part I need to change my fuel filter, is the filter located in the regulator. I also saw a part called a filter screen, what is a filter screen and do I need to replace that part to.

Hi Jimmy Fuel Filter and Regulator is the filter, the filter screen would be in the gas tank. Thanks
