For over 50 years, Crown Automotive has been the leading manufacturer and distributor of replacement parts for Jeep vehicles. With over 8,000 different part numbers, including many factory-discontinued items, we offer you exceptional quality that is only matched by an exceptional warranty.
The brackets themselves, other than being only slightly thinner than the originals, fit really well and do what they were designed to do. As for the hardware packs, somebody misread the OEM parts catalog. When you add up all of the mounting studs you come up with 32. However, only 28 nuts are included. So, you'll need to save four from the original installation. The kit comes with 10 "push-on" nuts. More of a retainer while you fumble around installing the nuts. The OEM install had one of these on every stud. =32. If I can at all avoid using these I will. But, if you wanted to install them you'd be 22 pieces short. The hardware kit also comes with 12 sheet metal screws, of which I can only find (so far) a use for eight, two Spring Type U-Nuts, which I do have use for and 14 Push in Fasteners, for attaching the inner fender. The push-in Fasteners don't play too much of a part retaining the flares, but I will be using a few of these (thanks to the previous owner). Overall they were easy to use. The hardest part was figuring out exactly which piece installed in which position. I'm happy with my purchase.
Does this kit include the rivet nuts that secure the rear part of the flares? Mine came out when my fender flare was damaged and I will need a set of new ones in order to install the new flare.

I need both fender flare retainers for the drivers side front of a 2000 XJ. do you sell both parts?
Asked by Ted from Indianapolis, IN on
Hi Ted, This Crown Automotive Fender Flare Retainer fits on the rear portion of the front flair for d/s, however we do not have access to any other retainers for the flares on the 2000 Cherokee. We do have a flare kit with hardware, here's the link and thank you for your inquiry. http://www.4wd.com/Fender-Flares/Fender-Flare-Kit.aspx?t_c=80&t_s=409&t_pt=3555&t_pn=CRO5FWK
