Looking for Temp sensor that gives reading to gauge on 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee LTD 5.2L 318 V8 4WD. do you know where this sensor would be mounted on the 5.2L V8. I have a 2-pin sensor located to the right of the T-Stat housing at the front of the engine. My temp gauge currently states that the jeep is overheating, but when hooked up to a diagnostic scanner it states that is running at 195 degrees. Thanks Joe

Hello, the Chrysler diagram says it's located in the thermostat housing. If you do not have one in your thermostat housing then that one next to it that is in the intake manifold would be it. It is a two terminal sensor that screws in. Thank you!

Is there any way to find out what the thread size is on this? By threads I mean the ones that screw into the block. I have bought 2 now for my 82 CJ5 2.5 liter (the Iron Duke Motor) from auto parts stores. 1 was to big and the other was to small. I have the original and will get the size tomorrow. Any help, MANY thanks.... Michael
