1 Answered questionI have a 1972 commando with a 258 AMC engine. The clutch cable on it right now is off an 86 mustang (previous owner did this). Will this cable work as a replacement?

Hello, this cable is longer than what the commando requires. The correct cable is 49-3/16" long, it's part number is #942612 which is a discontinued part. I can't locate one anywhere. The CROJ0992533 is the same style cable but is 58.25" long, it may still work but it is up to you if you want to try it. Thank you!
