Hi Tazharvey The Rear Frame Chassis Crossmember is welded to the rear of the frame it is not a bumper. Thanks

What type of welding is necessary for this product? Looking at the picture and the one that is installed on my 84 CJ it looks like a direct bolt on crossmember.

To install this on your Jeep you would need to cut the factory crossmember out, then weld this new crossmember to the frame rails of your Jeep. This is not a bolt on item for your Jeep. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks.
