Corsa Exhaust System's straight through design with their patented RSC noise cancellation technology allows them to tune out undesirable low frequencies that cause the dreaded drone while still reducing back pressure. Sound waves are reflected within the muffler case, producing a cancellation wave effect, with no flow restriction and without electronic devices. The reduction in back pressure allows the engine to produce more horsepower and torque.
I was not wild about it at first, but give it some time to burn in and it sounds a lot better. There was also a little drone when I first put it on, however that is gone now too. Overall, I'm very happy with it.
Installed on my '12JKU. Was impressed by the construction of the exhaust out of the box- good welds and just looked beautiful (and made in USA). Smaller than OEM and a little lighter. During the install, I had a difficult time lining everything up (comes with passenger exit pipe as seperate piece) but everything did finally match up. The angle of the inlet on the muffler just didn't jive with the outlet of the OEM midpipe. To get a great seal, the entire muffler assembly wanted to rotate down so that the exhaust tips would droop and look silly. Double check to make sure you dont have a leak at the midpipe/inlet connection- I hade to make some last minute adjustments. As far as sound, I am pleased overall. Most importantly, there is no ricer drone on the highway. There is some resonance during acceleration but its okay with the added growl. Maybe it is the 3.6L motor... but this did not "rumble" for me... I do wish the tone was a bit deeper. But, it is more aggressive and louder than stock. Overall, happy for now, but might try another catback dual system and see if that sounds better
Will this dual outlet unit fit the 2015 Rubicon Hard Rock Unlimited Edition, with its unique rear bumper and underside tow hooks?

CORSA Performance Exhaust entered the exhaust category with a bang in 1998 with the introduction of their patented Reflective Sound Cancellation. CORSA Performance delivered the first line of Straight-Through exhausts in which drone could be completely eliminated and acoustic tuning could be calibrated to exactly how you want your Jeep exhaust to sound. Building on the Straight-Through design, CORSA Performance introduced a line of free-flowing, direct path air intakes in 2012. CORSA Performance was able to scale up these advanced designs by utilizing sophisticated manufacturing processes that deliver quality air intakes and quality exhausts for any Jeep application.
