Due to seat width the seat cannot recline all the way back when installed in Jeep. The seat will hit the roll bar if reclined all the way back.

Al, the Corbeau Baja XRS Seat does not come with the 5th slot installed. You can add it on at an additional charge with this part number: IN-5TH. Thanks for the question!

I've heard that this product will fit in most tj's and lj's but with a loss in the reclining and sliding functions; so my question is how much of the reclining and sliding functions are usable? It looks like a fantastic product I'm just not sure because of this reason, thanks for the help!

Hey Dillon, you shouldn't lose and reclining function and on the sliding function you should only lose the difference in the size of the seat base. Thanks for your question.
