The felt bag holds all the windows but the rear window is larger then the bag. Thus it sticks out a bit. The outer bag is thin nylon and tore slightly when it caught on my rear taillight. This does what it needs to do to protect the windows. Just not sure of how ling it will survive.
We bought our first with our new (back then) 2004 Wrangler Unlimited LJ, and use this roll every summer just like the directions. For winter soft top storage we keep the felt roll flat on a makeshift shelf where the hardtop hangs all summer. This keeps the windows safe and avoids stuff getting stacked on top of them. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice simple solution to help keep your windows unscratched.
I bought this a month ago and so far I am very satisfied. It's a great idea for the issue of what to do with the windows once you've taken them out. The multiple layers of felt help protect each window from scratches and the roll is a great space saver. The only negative is what I saw in another comments about the straps that tie the roll to the back can come lose but that is remedied by knotting the excess strap. I have not had any problems reinstalling the windows, as someone else mentioned. I still love this product.
This was sold to me as an alternative for a bag that held the windows flat but which was back ordered which I did not know when I purchased it. The roll up bag holds the windows and it is compact. However, after one use, I think rolling the windows made it more difficult to install the windows back on to the jeep so I'm not yet satisfied with the product so at this time I won't recommend it. If I am not satisfied after another use or 2, I will return and wait for the type of bag that I wanted to get.
If you have any skill with a sewing machine and an extra hour, you can make your own for half the price if not less. I thought this would be more than... it is. Disappointed. Max price should be $40.
Prior to this I stored them in the back of the Jeep, laying flat on the floor. They became scratched, wore out before their time, and took up storage. Now, they roll up in soft felt, store in the sack, and strap up easily against the rear roll bars. The only problem I have is that the straps don't hold to the bar securely, after strapping to the bar I end up tying the strap up so that it doesn't work loose while driving down the highway. They need to work on this a bit more, maybe with a cam buckle instead of a snap-lock.
I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangker JK with a Bestop Trektop NX Soft Top. Will this storage bag completely cover my windows. Also, if I just take the windows off but nit roll down the top, can I still store the bag attached to the back rear handle or will I just need to stick the bag in the back seat or cargo area?

Hi E, This window roll from Clover Patch is a clever way to store and protect the 3 windows on the JK Wrangler. It attaches in the very rear section to the roll bars. Thank you for your inquiry.
