This Bushwacker Air Induction Scoop does not restrict hood movement, so you will still be able to fully open it. Thanks!

If I wanted to paint this, what prep/procedure is recommended? I'm guessing I don't need to rust-proof but should I prime, degrease, etc?

Hello, Painting: (Optional) if paint is desired it must be done prior to installing part on the vehicle. Clean outer surface with a good grade degreaser. DO NOT USE LACQUER THINNER OR ENAMEL REDUCER AS A DEGREASER. Wipe outer surface thoroughly with a tack rag prior to paint. Mask all tape areas prior to paint. Paint part using a high quality enamel, or polyurethane automotive paint. (Application of a primer coat is optional)
