First let me say my Jeep is a 2005 LJ and I am 6-2, 210 lbs. I installed them and found them very comfortable. A little tight against the wheel getting in and out but comfortable to drive. They put my hips and legs at much better angles and the over hood view is much improved. With that being said I did run into a couple side effects. 1. I now have to lean forward to see traffic lights 2. My head touches (barely) against the roll bar when reclined a bit But because I bought the 2 inch spacer I was able to turn them on the side and bore new holes. I found the 1.5 inch setup a happy medium. The 2 inch spacer at least gives you options
Bought the 2" risers and they were just a little too much. I laid them on their side and re-drilled them. Now I have 1 1/2" risers and they are perfect. My wife even liked them.
Improves vision, leg room.
Since buying my 05 TJ last December I thought I sat too low in it. I'm not short at 6'3" but it was difficult to operate the clutch pedal smoothly sitting lower with long legs. This product provides a better angle to operate the clutch pedal along with providing better sight lines while driving on road and off. In fact I wish I had gone with 2" of lift now that I know raising the seat doesn't interfere with operating the steering wheel. The blocks themselves are flawlessly machined and the mounting hardware is top notch. Installation was a breeze and as an added bonus my seats no longer squeak! Others have issues with the headrests hitting the windshield but mine do not. This isn't the cheapest solution out there but it looks great and is rock solid. I would definitely buy again and recommend to anyone.
Just what I needed. Love my 05 Unlimited, but hated the fact I could not see the end of my hood. I am 5'9", had reservations about the 2" risers, almost ordered the 1.5". Glad I didn't the 2" are perfect. Great product.
The risers were easy to install. Very simple and straight forward. The only thing is there's not much room to work to get at the back bolts, but that's because of the vehicle design, not the product. The install only took about 45 minutes.
Should be a standard equipment
Raises seats just right for 5'10" man in 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 6-speed manual. No longer feel like I'm sitting on the floor and peeking out the side windows. Not so high as to interfere with visibility of traffic lights and no interference with raising left knee for the clutch.
Well built and the hardware fit great.
My wife just bought a 2014 JK and she is short and needs the seat lifted 1 1/2" to 2"'s. Do they make anything that works with the JK. All these say TJ models only. When she lifts seat all the way up she still needs to be higher to see clearly over steering wheel.

Snookie, the Buchanan Precision Machine 2" Seat Risers are unfortunately only available for the TJ models at this point. Thanks for the question!
