I have had my Borla Cat-Back exhaust system on my '91 YJ for about 12 years. It still sounds great and there are no leaks. It's not pretty to look at anymore but its easy to remove and reinstall if you ever need to. The exhaust tip gets a little bent up from hitting/dragging across rocks & logs (bent but not broken).
If you want a catback exhaust system that does not sound like a cherry bomb this is it! Nice mellow tone while cruising, deeper & stronger under acceleration. When combined with a cold air intake system (Airaid C.A.D in this case)it gets noticeably louder under acceleration then quiets right down while cruising. You get what you pay for,I'm not easily pleased & I like this product.
For a 2005 Jeep LJ Rubicon What size/diameter is the pipe where the outlet tip attaches to?

Hi Mike No the High-Quality Austenitic Stainless Steel Exhaust System is only for the 4.0. The kit for the 2.5 has been discontinued. Thanks

I would like to know what the approximate HP gain will be when using this item on a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. Thank you

Jorge, I have not seen any dyno sheets on this Borla Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System so I can not give you a number. But here is what Borla says " The actual horsepower increase depends upon the fuel management system's ability to provide the right amount of fuel to match the extra air flow; 5 to 15% increases are not uncommon."

BORLA Performance Industries started 30 years ago, producing exhaust systems for ultra luxury and ultra performance vehicles including Rolls-Royce and Ferrari. From that history, BORLA developed and patented a host of manufacturing techniques that give their stainless steel exhausts the durability and performance that Jeep drivers flock to. BORLA even patented the way the steel is processed for their Cat-Back system, Header and Axle-Back systems. All use austenitic stainless steel, which is better than 409 or aluminized steel. The construction of the exhaust systems is entirely welded and produced with mandrel-bent tubing. It's these high-end manufacturing techniques that make BORLA the go-to exhaust for off-road racers all over the world. Shop Borla Now
