Our new GEN 3 TrailDoors are the best we have ever made. We significantly improved the quality. The door frames are now robotically welded with precision. The Frames bends are computer controlled through a CNC mandrel auto-feed machine. These new processes insure a consistent fitting door frame. Like the GEN II doors the hinge pins are bolt on, but now the latch plate is bolt on bracket as well. This allows us to add a horizontal adjustment feature on the latch location insuring proper alignment with the vehicle striker. Another improvement is the door webbing. The fit of the webbing is improved and we added Velcro loops to secure the ends of the webbing so there is no more flapping. We encapsulated the arm pads in nylon material improving the life of the padding. We also improved the material of the webbing itself, heavy cordura nylon panels for comfort and durability. The frames are painted in our dual process textured black powder coat.
How fast (mph) can you go with these doors on? I know it's made for off roading, but are they safe on highways as well?

Body Armor 4x4 produces extreme off-road equipment for Jeeps and trucks. The company was founded in the 1990s in Corona, California. Body Armor engineers its products to withstand the abuse of the trail over and over while personalizing the look of your rig. Body Armor popular products include Jeep bumpers with integrated winch plates and multiple light mounting points, Trail doors that are predrilled for aftermarket mirrors plus thick nylon webbing to protect passengers from scraping branches and a very secure two position latch, plus rock steps that also function as sliders. All Body Armor parts are built for durability with a dual process powdercoat oversprayed with a textured finish and undersprayed with an e-coat. So corrosion resistance is quite strong.
