How does this product attach to the jeep? Does it require damaging the paint or sides or drilling holes?

This Body Armor Light Bar attaches to the jeep on the windshield hinges. It does not require any drilling.

What do they mean by a 3 piece?

The top tube that holds the lights is a separate piece that mounts into the two vertical side bars. Thanks!
