BFG TA KO2 Tires 31 X 10.5 Awesome Tires and Highly Recommended!

I purchase 5 BFG TA KO2 tires in 31 X 10.5 for my 2005 Jeep Wrangler LJ at the time my jeep was stock and the tires fit perfect and looked much beefier. Handling on Road was as great as I spend 95% of my time on roads but I have taken my LJ of road on several occasions and they worked to perfection in streams, Mud, up and down some steep hills and mountains. I cannot praise them enough. Since my purchase 10 month ago they wear even as I do a 5 tire rotate at proper intervals. next tires will be BFG tires only I will up the size as I have added a 2" lift so add flat fenders and 33's will fit like a glove. Thanks BFG for making a great tire and sponsoring the Off Road Expo in Louisville 2017 it was Amazing!

great tire

I've had mine over 10 years. they are quiet, tough. great handling, and dig into the ground. I have never been in a situation I couldn't get out of. I hauled a boat to the lake in 2 feet of snow. desperation. tires never slipped. they dug in and kept on going

Great Tires

I had these on my Jeep ZJ for 3 years. Offroaded every Sunday for a year straight. Driven to, at and from the trails. Doesn't hydroplane as much as you think, it takes rly deep standing water to hydroplane. The only ting I can complain about, is wet grass... My Jeep is AWD and it would spin all 4 lose in wet grass. Same with the mud terrains from BFG. Not sure why... Love these tires.

If I purchase a set of these tires, what will I need to do to accommodate them on my'04 TJ? I currently have 30x9.50R15LT's on. I want a wider tire but not necessarily a lot more height! I'm only 5'4"! lol Will these rims work with this tire? http://www.4wd.com/Jeep-Wheels-Jeep-Wheel-Accessories/Dick-Cepek-DC-2-Wheel.aspx?t_c=11&t_s=535&t_pt=101508&t_pn=D%2fC90000000478 Thanks for your help!

Asked by Jill from United States on

Jill, the BF Goodrich Tires 31x10.50R15, All-Terrain T/A KO2 will fit on your Jeep without modification, however the wheel you chose are too wide to fit on this tire. You will want to run a 15x8" wheel which can be found here: http://www.4wd.com/Jeep-Wheels-Jeep-Wheel-Accessories/Dick-Cepek-DC-2-Wheel.aspx?t_c=11&t_s=535&t_pt=101508&t_pn=D/C90000000481 Thanks for the question!

1998 Jeep TJ: currently running Dayton Timberline A/T II - 31x10.5 R15 LT. Suitable for some off-road, but not rougher situations. The rims are a bit wider than stock and offset to clear the lower control arms. The control arm flanges have been hammered back to clear tires on full lock turns and no other modifications to chassis or running gear have been made. Will this tire fit as well. Thanks, Ed

Asked by JedBishop from Bishop, CA on

Hi JedBishop, These BF Goodrich Tires 31x10.50R15, All-Terrain T/A K02 will fit great if the 31x10.50R15 is the size you have now. These tires work well in snow, rain and highway use as well as off road. Great question, thanks for your inquiry.
