Hi Phil, This Bestop Trailmax II Fold and Tumble Rear Seat does have headrests, and they are adjustable. Sorry about the confusion, we do not have specific measurements on this seat, it's made to fit between the wheel wells on the CJ's and YJ's. Thank you for your inquiry.

Hi Willie The Trailmax II Fold and Tumble Rear Seat is 17 inches from the seat to the top of the bak not including head rests. Thanks
