Hey Ed, the Bestop Supertop with Tinted Windows without Doors does not use snaps to mount and will eliminate the snaps on your Jeep. Thanks for your question.

Will this top work with a 1976 cj5 with a fiberglass body?

Hi Jon, This Bestop Supertop with Two-Piece Soft Doors fits fine on the CJ 5's with the fiberglass body. It's very complete with the channel attachments, bow assemblies, fabric, windows and doors. For the thicker fiberglass body we recommend obtaining some longer sheet metal screws to install the body channels, such as a 14x3/4 inch screw, also 1/4 inch flat washers (25 of both) and a 7/32 inch drill bit. Does this kit include spare tire cover?

Mark, Unfortunately the Bestop Supertop with Two-Piece Soft Doors does not come with a spare tire cover. The tire cover is available separate and is dependent on tire size for correct fitment. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
