The Sailcloth Replace-a-tops takes the award-winning formula of Replace-a-top, and adds in heavier sailcloth fabric. Sailcloth tops are the quietest soft tops on the market. The secret to this Jeep soft top lies in the unique multi-ply Sailcloth fabric. Each ply plays a different role, but together they reflect road sounds, absorb wind noise, and prevent buffeting to create a silencing effect that absolutely must be heard to be believed.
The Bestop Replace-a-top is the only replacement top featuring the patented Belt Rail attachment system and is designed to fit right over the factory hardware for easy installation and returns to its original shape and tautness. The 4 ply material would be equal to what mill thickness ? What is the window thickness ( mill ) ?

Hi Dave, This Bestop Sailcloth Tinted Replace-a-top without Doors does not have miil thickness specs from the manufacturer on the material, however the windows are heat sealed 30-mil DOT approved vinyl. Thanks for your inquiry.

Hello, I have a 2011 2dr Sport which presently has a mis-match soft top frame. Its a Mopar frame with Bestop door surrounds, tailgate bar etc. I do not know the year of frame that I have as I purchased it used. Does that have an effect on the compatibility with this replace a top product? Thank you, I look forward to your response. Katie

Hi Katie, This Bestop Sailcloth Tinted Replace-a-Top is designed for the 2 door Jeeps from 2011 and newer since it does not use the "cable type" attachment and door surrounds. It's difficult to verify how this top will fit without knowing what year and version of door surrounds and bow bars you have, but it's not for the cable style down the sides. Thanks for your inquiry.
