Designed for use with a manual transmission, this direct bolt-in aluminum conversion radiator boasts a 20-40 degree temperature drop over conventional cooper/brass radiators. Its unique cross flow design consists of two 1-core rows which offer better flow and more cooling capacity than most heavy-duty 4-core radiators. This radiator is specifically designed for high horsepower motors, trailer towing, back-country rock crawling and for normal/medium powered stock vehicles working in extremely high temperature conditions. This radiator is also great if you're just looking for more efficient cooling. Be Cool radiators have a greater life cycle than the original equipment while weighing 40% less. All tanks and brackets are hand built with .080" wall thickness alloy and are fully pressure tested. All units come with cast-filler necks, petcocks and fittings. Be Cool radiators are compatible with all major brands of anti-freeze and are handcrafted in the USA.
I've heard that there are mixed reviews regarding having fan belt driven radiators vs. electric fan radiators. Can you please let me know what would be the better option and why. I have a 2004 Rubicon TJ and would appreciate your input.

JP, In order to run an aftermarket aluminum radiator you do need to run an electric fan due to the stock fan shroud not fitting. The belt driven fan does pull more CFM however uses more power from the motor to turn. With the Be Cool Replacement Aluminum Radiator Module for AMC 4 or 6 Cylinder Engine with Manual Transmission an electric fan is more than enough to keep it cool. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Although the website identifies this product as "fitting" my 92 YJ 4.0 w/manual tranny, it does not state that it is "Direct Fit". Is there a difference?

Be Cool Radiators is based in Essexville, Michigan and was founded in 1994. Original founder Roger Rosebush had been involved in motorsports since adolescence and back in the day, he and his siblings built out a 57 Chevy with a 427 big block engine and used it for illegal street racing. Rosebush became hooked on designing and building more and more powerful engines and this endeavor eventually led him into professional race car driving. Motorsports evolved into a desire to engineer better cooling systems for ever more powerful engines. Be Cool Radiators has, from its founding, had one focus: making the best easy-install, bolt-in aluminum radiators for your Jeep. Shop Be Cool Now
