This is a great upgrade to any Jeep. In a jeep with a standard fan you can gain up to 8HP by taking the drag off of the engine. It pushed out twice the cfm when its needed. Stopped or in slow traffic. I would recommend the fan control kit. It will kick on at 195 and off at 180. You will want to use a 160 thermostat. A toggle can be wired in to shut off on those water crossings.
The Be Cool 14" Thin Line Electric Puller Fan is approximately 2.5" thick. Thanks for the inquiry.

How do the four mounting clips attach?
DB from on
The Be Cool 16" Electric Puller Fan has ears on it with a keyed bracket. Those will mount to your brackets. if you are not running a Aluminum radiator use the supplied brackets and just go off to the side of your radiator support. Hope that helps.

The Be Cool 6.5" Puller Fan Thin Line is designed more for use on a trans cooler than to actually cool the engine. I run the BEC75001 and the BEC72031. I use a 180 thermostat. the harness will allow it to kick on at 195 and off at 180. It comes with mounting brackets. You just need to drill a couple holes in your radiator support and your mounted. Thanks for the inquiry.
Be Cool Radiators is based in Essexville, Michigan and was founded in 1994. Original founder Roger Rosebush had been involved in motorsports since adolescence and back in the day, he and his siblings built out a 57 Chevy with a 427 big block engine and used it for illegal street racing. Rosebush became hooked on designing and building more and more powerful engines and this endeavor eventually led him into professional race car driving. Motorsports evolved into a desire to engineer better cooling systems for ever more powerful engines. Be Cool Radiators has, from its founding, had one focus: making the best easy-install, bolt-in aluminum radiators for your Jeep. Shop Be Cool Now
