Increase horsepower by replacing your mechanical fan with Be Cool electric fans. Improving airflow is one key to maintaining your vehicles operating temperature. This 16 high torque fan will provide substantial air flow increases compared to the stock mechanical fan at idle or low vehicle speed. When used in conjunction with a Be Cool radiator, vehicle will operate at or near the thermostat temperature. This fan produces 2360 CFM at only 12 volts drawing 16 amps and fan motor has a life cycle of 6000 hours. Fans include universal mounting brackets. Wiring sold separately. This fan is 3-1/2 thick and requires a minimum distance of 3-3/4 between the radiator core and the water pump hub. Please measure your vehicle before ordering.

Hi, does this fan replace the stock mechanical fan or both the mechanical fan and the 2nd electrically operated auxilliary fan? If it replaces both how does the AC work? What controls would you recomend for this fan?

This is an upgrade fan to replace the factory mechanical fan. You would have to run a dual electrical fan one will cool the radiator and the other will be for the A/C when it's in use will turn on to help cool the radiator.
