Banks Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel Monster Exhaust system cuts back pressure up to 98% and flows up to 176% better than stock. The streamlined intermediate pipe and tailpipe are formed of stainless, heavy-wall tubing with constant-diameter bends to maximize airflow and lower exhaust gas temps.
This is a very easy system to bolt on. You will need a grinder or a sawzall for easier removal of old exhaust, and to shorten stock converter. The sound is perfect and i can really feel the performance increase! looks nice also!
Easy to install. The finish on the product was very nice. I made mine into a drop down behind the axle. Sounds like a 4.0 should sound.
Very easy to Install in less than 45 min. Installed on my 2014 jk and very pleased with the sound and The look, instruction are very clear on how to install and where to measure and cut the old exhaust
So I installed this in my driveway, took maybe 1.5 hrs with the majority of that in removing the skid for better access and cutting the old exhaust out. Bolts in perfectly, no trimming or modifications necessary as with some of the cheaper exhaust systems Ive installed through the years. Note this is a glasspack muffler, and sounds accordingly. I dont remember if it says so or not in the description, but after a few days I noticed some fiberglass collected in the tip. Nice rumble at idle and great sound around town, people turn their heads if you stay in the throttle.. But not enough drone at highway speeds to irritate, between the tire noise, soft top flap and stereo blaring is barely noticeable. Does it increase performance? Most likely not, at least not that Ive noticed. Sound great and makes me smile when it starts up? Heck yeah!
this system fit great sounds awesome I have found an increase in power and fuel economy !!!
Good product, just wish it didn't vibrate your brain when engine braking or when the revs are below 2300 rpm.
Installed system myself, directions were straight forward. Must be careful when removing old system as not to cut the cat pipe. The quality of muffler and pipes were top notch.

Nice, throaty sound above 2500 rpm. Installed well.
Good Product just it looks like it is going to continue rusting on me but I have had it for over 50000 miles and it has been through alot. All and all I like it and I am glad I tried it but I will continue to try other brands in the future that offer higher quality SS.
is the whole system made from s/s and 2 5 inch all the way through & is the s/s 409.

Hi Charlie, This Banks Power Monster Exhaust System is in fact stainless front to back, it's a grade 409 stainless. Great question, thank you for your inquiry.

I am interested in the torque tube headers as well as this monster kit. However It seems there is no down pipe or cat. Am I missing something? It seems the price also reflects this but i dont want to piece together parts from different manufacturers praying they match up smoothly.
Asked by rebel jeeper from Marion Wisconsin on
Hello rebel jeeper, The Banks Power Monster Exhaust will use the factory headpipe and cat. As long as you are using a direct fit catalytic converter everything will match up fine. Thanks for the inquiry.
