PRODUCT OVERVIEW

This kit includes one 1.25" -12tpi Chromoly rod end with 1.0" bore, one jam nut, one wrench flat tube adapter for 1.5 ID -2.0 OD tubing, and two stainless steel 3/4"-1.0" high misalignment spacers. The mounting width with the spacer is 2.625" with a 3/4" hole. Great for the builder who needs the best product at a great value. These rod ends from Ruffstuff Specialties are the best way to add strength, reliability, and flexibility to any situation that requires use of a rod end such as in suspension or steering applications. The XM series utilizes a high strength Heat and Cryogenically treated 4130 Chromoly body with a polished chrome finish sure to impress. The ball is made from heat treated bearing steel for strength and hard chrome polished for a smooth surface. The race is injection molded, Teflon impregnated nylon which keeps the joint quiet and tight for years and years of usability. There are two big benefits to Cryogenically treating a rod end. The first is that it increases the strength of the Heat treated steel body making this 1.25" rod end the strongest available on the market. The second is the a huge increase in density and smoothness of the nylon/Teflon injection molded race, drastically increasing the life span of the plastics. What this means for you is not only the strongest heim joint on the market, but also the longest lasting. This, coupled with our low price, makes these rod ends the best value on the market.

Manufacturer

Artec Industries is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, but its origins are an American success story based in Tucscon, Arizona. The owner, Artie Nuttall, married into a family of off-roaders who quickly infected him with their enthusiasm. So much so that Nuttall took a welding class at a community college so that he could complete DIY axle swaps on his rig in his garage. Turns out he had a talent for welding and in 2010 Artie successfully marketed a line of battery mounts. From there, Artec Welding turned into Artec Industries and though the product line and success grew, Nuttall's attention to craftsmanship and quality never wavered. Shop Artec Industries Now
