Getting into your truck shouldn?t feel like climbing Mount Everest. That?s why AMP Research invented POWERSTEP?, the automatic, electric-powered running board that instantly extends when you open your door, and then hides itself safely out of sight when the doors close for improved ground clearance, aerodynamics and appearance. Its handsome design, all-weather performance and legendary reliability set the industry standard. Ditto its industry-leading 5-year/60,000-mile warranty.
2016 Sahara with 4in lift/35 in tires This product is absolutely amazing…and I have read the answer on removing the factory doors that will remain either up or down while the doors are off. However, adding any from the vast selection of the half doors be sufficient enough to engage power operation on running boards?. Or is there another connection that must be obtained to complete the circuit. please advise…and thank you

T, the AMP-Research PowerStep Running Boards will work as long as you have a door that has the wiring for the "door open" circuit. Hope this helps!

Hi Rocky, These AMP-Research PowerStep Running Boards won't work on a LJ model from '04, however we do have the kit that fits great on your Jeep. Here they are and thanks for your interest in them.http://www.4wd.com/Side-Steps-Running-Boards/Step-Slider.aspx?t_c=70&t_s=490&t_pt=10442&t_pn=RSEBD-SS-100-LJ

Does this or any power step come in 12" depths? Or at least larger than this particular PowerStep? This may not be too aesthetically pleasing; However, being able to put one's entire two feet on it with a little room to spare is more comfortable for the elderly jeep fan/driver! Thanks.

Hello Jeep for the Elder, Unfortunately they do not offer a AMP-Research PowerStep Running Boards in a 12 inch width. Ive done a little looking around online and could find any other manufacturer with a wider step. I apologize.
