universal fit logo

  • Alpine | Part Number: ALPHCE-TCAM1-WRA
  • Fitment:Universal Fit

The HCE-TCAM1-WRA is an all-in-one rear view camera and light system for 2007-up Jeep Wranglers. It has a 7-inch diameter footprint and fits directly onto the spare tire mount, along with the tire itself for an integrated look. The 6.25 inch W x 2 inch H third brake light provides added safety, while an additional reverse LED light illuminates the cameras lens for increased image visibility when the Wrangler is backing up. The optimized camera angle provides visibility for near and far objects behind your Jeep Wrangler, straight down and rear view (+5 degrees up from horizontal which can be displayed on an OEM or aftermarket in-dash screen (sold separately). The camera is waterproof (at IP66 ratings) and dust proof, and the cameras angle is optimized for viewing both near and far objects. The camera housing has a matte black finish with gun metal gray powder coat accents. The HCE-TCAM1-WRA uses lug nut mounts for easy wheel removal and compatible with most aftermarket and OEM wheels using the spare tire mount. Three mounting posts of varying lengths are included, so you can choose the correct one to fit the depth of your spare wheel/tire.

All in one Jeep camera

I have my Alpime t-cam paired with the Alpine x209-wra-or and it works great. Quality is okay, nothing special. I have a $15 front camera that has comparable quality. But with the Alpine you get your 3rd brake like back, reverse camera, and a little reverse light for the camera at night. Only big complaint is how it attaches. I used my spare wheel lock to attach it instead of the supplied nut for security purposes, but it sticks out further than the unit, so I can't put the black plug there to cover ther wheel lock. Also, it only calls for 14ft lbs of torque which would still be easy to break loose with little much if someone wanted to steal it. So far I'm happy though, just being picky.
